The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies EVER!

So, this is my family's absolutely most favorite cookie recipe!  These are awesome straight from the oven, all warm and gooey!  Mmmmmm....my mouth is watering just thinking about them!
Preheat oven to 350'F.
Makes about 30 cookies.

You need:
1 C. softened butter (I usually use margarine, but butter does add a richer taste and they will be crispier around the edges)
1/2 C. sugar
1 1/2 C. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 C. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 twelve-ounce bags of semi sweet chocolate chips

Cream the butter (margarine), sugars, eggs and vanilla together in a large mixing bowl.
On low speed add the salt, baking powder, baking soda, and then the flour.
Lastly, add the chocolate chips.

With your fingers and a soup spoon, or an ice cream scoop, place golf ball sized portions on an ungreased cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 9 minutes or until the edges are light brown.  They may seem like they need to bake longer, but they don't!  They will be soft and chewy. Perfection!
You can add chopped walnuts or macadamia nuts if you so please.  Either way, they won't last long!
